Goes without having to say that, its very wet in the hills and worse than that, the wind speeds seem to be constantly 40-60mph.
The snow has gone again but due back from Wednesday with promised downfalls through to Saturday so my walk with 30 or so students from London will not be going to the summit or anywhere near a high top!
So not too much walking on the hills but I have been out and about attending talks and meetings etc and of course planning future walks and adventures.
Begining of March I am off to the lakes for a week or so visiting the HF Houses at Derwent Water and Conniston, hoping to get some big walking days in if the weather allows. Then its back to Snowdonia when my season starts proper and I will be keeping you all updated on any adventures etc.
As from last week I am now offcially an accredited Snowdonia National Park Ambassador for Snowdon, a "Visit Specialist", just waiting for the logos to come through now!
The Snowdon workshop that I delivered with Mike Raine was a great success and the April 24th workshop is nearly full, this is only for qualified mountain leaders to attend and its great that they are keen to get some in depth knowledge of the mountain and surrounding area.
Of course I will also be passing on some of the nearly researched information onto my guests that walk with me on the mountain.
Couple of Open Group Walks are being added to the diary: Pyg Track & Miners Path May2nd, Watkin Path & South Ridge June TBC. £40pp.
Some photos from the film shoots of two famous films shot here in Snowdonia.
