Supporting Zoe's Place Baby Hospice (Coventry)

Working fro Skyblue Adventures I was part of a big team of Mountain Leaders looking after and supporting over fifty people who had travelled through the morning from Covenrty in order to raise monies for Zoe's Place Baby Hospice.

The majority of the people were not mountain walkers and most had never been on a mountain! so arriving at Pen y Pass to zero visability because of the clag must have been daunting to say the least, this was going to be a big challenge for some.

Route chosen was up the Pyg Track and down the Llanberis Path, the weather eventually cleared as we left the summit giving everyone time to enjoy the stunning views on offer.

To everyones credit and with bags of determination and effort everyone managed to get to the summit, the completion times bottom to top ranged from 6-11hours !!!

Well done Tyler, Sharon, Ceris & Steve
