Snowdon, Siabod and the Glyders

Dodged the worst of the weather and managed to get three good days on the mountains, Snowdon was really good, working alongside Mike Raine delivering a workshop for qualified mountain leaders. A long day out coming off the hill in darkness but so much to talk about, this mountain packs it in!

Siabod was not a good day with howling winds and driving rain, that certainly swept away the cobwebs

Last week Myself and Andy did a Glyders traverse starting at Nant Peris taking the waterfall route up onto Y Garn and then following the ridgeline onto Elidir Fawr and then the very steep drop off back to NP.

This is a great day out and thankfully the weather held out for us although, the cloud was down on Elidir causing a slight nav error on the start of the descent which meant an unpleasant short detour over the boulder field, really important that you are able to nav in these conditions. The next day the snow came down hard and fast but typical I was unable to get out to play.
