For a change the weather was great for the last Bank Holiday of the year and Gwyn, Gary, Matthew & Jonathon made the most of it with a fantastic day out on Snowdon.
Taking an unusually very busy Rhyd Ddu Path to a very clear and sunny summit we could see the heavy low clouds drifting their way towards us from the coast, that spurned us on to get to the top in just over two hours.
The summit was quite busy so we headed round to the front to have great views over Llyn Llydaw and Crib Goch and had lunch.
The South Ridge was the selected route for the return and as usual this was a lot quieter, by now the clouds had caught us up and were drifting over Bwlch Main giving us some very atmospheric views.
All in all a top day out with great company on our fantastic mountain, please come again!
