Just returned from Craflwyn Hall and three days leading a variety of walks, highlight was a fab day up Snowdon with Paul, Rob, Jean & Susan, first timers on Snowdon and looking forward to the challenge.
Taking my favourite Rhyd Ddu path up to the summit and returning by the South Ridge always promises to be a great day and this was no exception, a bit of banter always helps the pain of those steep pulls along with a bit of ear bashing (educational input) and we were soon at the unusually quiet summit, bonus!
It was a tad cold and then a brief snow shower arrived to give us all the weather seasons in one day, Sun, rain, snow, wind and a rainbow!
We came across up a couple of young ladies who did not fancy a return back down the Watkin scree and guided them down the South ridge for a more relaxed return leaving us at Bwlch Cwm Llan.
So another great day out on our fantastic mountain made very enjoyable by great company,.
