End of a busy week

Wow that was a week packed with a variety of walks and weather and next week is a week off !

The week started leading a small group around Tanygrisau the woods and over to Blaenau Ffestiniog, then it was two days on the Glyderau taking in some of the Welsh 3000's.

Friday, and I was fortunate to grab a last place on the rocks & rituals walk led by the very enthusiastic and knowledgeable Ken Brassil (former education officer at St Fagans). This was based in the area of Bwlch y Ddeufaen which, has a rich history, on view and hidden, dating back may thousands of years.

Â

Bernard Owen had the unenviable task of trying to ensure Ken kept to some sort of timetable as the information and stories kept coming from a never emptying pot of knowledge and passion.

Saturday along with Colin Boyd I led a group from the Trefriw Walking Festival on the Eigiau Horseshoe, a serious 8 hour outing on the high Carneddau.

Sunday, and I am relaxing in the office catching up on office work and waiting for the next advenure to begin!

Some photos from the week.
